STALKER 2 Heart of Chernobyl’s release has been delayed, changed its release date from April 28 of this year to December 8th.
The date change was due to a controversial decision to include NFTs in the game.
According to the Twitter account of the developer GSC Game World , the seven-month delay aims to “fulfill our vision and achieve the desired state of the game. STALKER 2 is the largest project in GSC history and requires extensive testing and polishing.”
STALKER 2 was originally announced on May 15, 2018 and over the course of more than three years, there have been multiple trailers. including one with gameplay shown in June of last year.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed and published by GSC Game World. Set to release for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox Series X/S in December 2022.
