GTA 6 to Show Up in 2023, as per Some Analysts

It has been 9 years since the launch of GTA V and presently a new report shows that the hotly anticipated next installment, GTA 6, could show up in 2023.

The report comes from analysts, and relates to the purchase of the mobile games company, Zynga, by Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, for $12.7 billion.

In the statement announcing the agreement between the two companies, the following has been revealed, please have a look below.

“In a press release announcing the deal, Take-Two said that the combined company is “expected to deliver” an annual growth rate of 14% over the next three years, to the end of the 2024 financial year.”

“As noted by analysis from New York firm Jefferies (via Axios), “there are only a handful of titles that can […] provide management with the confidence to put out such a strong guidance,” leading the firm to “believe there is at least one Rockstar IP set to be released by FY24,” which starts in April 2023, and end in March 2024.”

This is how Cowen analyst Doug Creutz. mentions that this could be related to “a likely GTA 6 release in fiscal 2024.”

However, this is just speculations at the moment, so for the time being we just need to sit tight for an official announcement.
