Deathloop PC Crashes, Stuttering, Won’t Launch, Errors and Fixes

Deathloop is now available for PC and PS5. The first-person shooter game is using Denuvo Protection and is not even optimized. There are many issues like Crashes, Stuttering, Launch Problems, Mouse Problems, and other errors.

Deathloop System Requirements

Minimum:

  • Operating Systems: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 @ 2.80GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 30 GB available space

Recommended:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K @ 3.60GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia RTX 2060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5700 (8GB)
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection

Deathloop Crash to Desktop or Random Crashes

  • Very first, check your graphics card driver to be updated to Nvidia 470.96 driver version for Nvidia users.
  • If you are using Laptop, go to the manufacturer website and download latest updates and drivers.
  • Verify the integrity of Game Files on Steam, Open Steam and navigate to your Library, Right-click on DEATHLOOP and select Properties, Select the Local files tab and click Verify integrity of game files.
  • It is also reported that the game is crashing at beginning, its due to Ray-Tracing, so disable it until the update.

Deathloop Low FPS or Slow Performance Issue

If you are suffering performance issues and Low FPS, try the following tricks and tips to resolve the issue.

  • Check the Deathloop system requirements first.
  • Make sure the game is running on primary graphics card, to do this, directing to Options from the game’s main menu, selecting Visuals, and then under Video Settings, check that the Video Card Selection is set to your primary graphics card.
  • Avoid using the Windows [ALT]+[TAB] function as it can have an impact on framerate.
  • Ensure you are not running any additional programs in the background.
  • Update your graphic card drivers.
  • Make sure you have updated your windows.

Deathloop Stuttering or Micro-Stutters Issue

Currently most of high-end hardware users are reporting high stuttering or micro-stutters and the game is almost unplayable, its just due to Denuvo Protection, so wait for a game update to fix this problem. Some of users are using Controllers instead of Mouse and Keyboard and they are not facing any stuttering.

Deathloop Intel GPU Void Engine Error

Intel users are experiencing the Intel GPU is not supporting the game, booting slow or screen turned Red or Black, to fix this issue, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to Game Menu
  2. Select Visuals Tab
  3. Find “Video Card Selection” and change which card the game is trying to run off of
  4. Save and restart the game

Deathloop Mouse Stutter or Out of Control Cursor

Turn on V-Sync or set the game FPS to 60 or 30 to fix this problem.

Deathloop Error 0xC0000001D

Make sure you have installed the latest DirectX and Visual C++, update the Graphics Card driver as well to fix the problem.

Deathloop Won’t Launch Fix

If you are trying to launch the game but it’s failed to launch or won’t launch, just launch the game from GeForce Experience. Disabling Riva Tuner will resolve the issue.

Deathloop Couldn’t Create a DirectX 12 Device

This error is occurring on Windows 11, because Windows 11 is not supported yet.
