Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Becomes Second-Highest Grossing Game in Ubisoft History, Third DLC to Come Soon

Less than a year was enough to make Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla the second highest-grossing game in Ubisoft’s history. We also reported that we can expect the third DLC for this game.

Ubisoft has released a new financial report. It contained information that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is already the second-highest profitable game in the publisher’s history. This achievement is all the more impressive as the production was achieved in less than twelve months after the premiere. Unfortunately, it was not stated which title is the leader in this category.

In the report, we can also read that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is doing better in all respects than Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey at the same time after its premiere. First of all, Valhalla generates more revenue per user per day. Ubisoft also highlights the record player activity in The Siege of Paris DLC.

In addition, we found out when we can expect the third expansion pack. The publisher announced that it intends to release new content for AC Valhalla before the end of the current accounting year, which is March 31, 2022. Recall that the expansion has not yet been officially announced, but rumors suggest that it will receive the Dawn of Ragnarok title and will emphasize the mythological aspects brand.

Information about the financial success of the latest installment in the series helps you understand why Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will be supported longer than AC Odyssey. The latest installment of the series has already received two additions, traditional for this series – Wrath of the Druids debuted in May, and The Siege of Paris was released in August.

Normally it would end there, but the game is doing so well that Ubisoft decided to develop it further. There were even rumors that work on the new extension had delayed the production of the next installment of the series.

Recall that AC: Valhalla was released in November last year on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4 and PS5, and on Google Stadia.
